Engine 3

Engine 3 is a 1982 Hahn 84/92 with a two stage 1500 gallon per minute pump and 500 gallon tank. It is the department’s brushfire and wildfire truck. Engine 3 is well suited for this task with its two booster hose reels located above the pump panel on either side. Engine 3 has a smaller profile and raise body making it capable of operating within the Watchung Reservation. The engine is also a reserve piece and will take the place of Engine 2 if another engine is out of service for maintenance.
